The challenge on the Parisian red clay between Europe and South America goes to the Old Continent. After Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, it is the German Alexander Zverev to qualify for the semifinals at Roland Garros. The German, currently No.27 in the world, won in four sets over Argentine Tomas Etcheverry (No.49) 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

A year after the serious ankle injury, and for the third time in a row, Zverev reaches the semifinals of Roland Garros, the second Slam of the season (prize money 49,600,000 euros). Now the 26-year-old, seeded No. 22, is waiting to meet his rival who will come out of tonight's match between Denmark's Holger Rune (No.6) and Norway's Casper Ruud (No.4), a re-edition of the semi-final of the Italian Open.
