SVS Premium will start the sub-corner 'Cramped Office' of 'Workplace Trouble Consultation Center-Bamboo Shoot' from today. The 'job' where you spend the most time during the day, and the stress of work is also a lot of work, but how cramped would it be if you were also 'stuck'? Together with the civic organization 'Jig-glove 119', we will introduce you with a focus on cases that can be really helpful to you.
It's been more than 119 years since I conducted an email consultation through Jig5. I've seen countless stories of workplace bullying. There are many stories of complicated work lives, and some of the most memorable stories of bullying. It's usually the case that the victim's pain is desperately felt. This is also the story that I am introducing to you for the first time.

Employee A is an employee who works in the sales department of a subsidiary of a financial company. My boss, B, was A's direct supervisor. It happened at a team dinner after a long absence. B starts gossiping about A in front of his boss at a dinner party.

"I think he's working hard. I think it's a lot lacking." "Honestly, it's very hard for me. I don't have anyone on the team, and I think he's getting behind me." And I said.

A was so embarrassed. When I start gossiping, I just bow my head and wonder if I've done anything wrong. At the end of what was a nightmare, the real nightmare began.

When it was time to make the calculation, Person A asked Person B, who was holding a corporate card, to do the calculation. Suddenly, B started punching A on the back of the head with his fist, saying, "You're not polite, you cheap X bastard." I even hit A with my briefcase. It was such a strong assault that the watch of the man who was drying was broken.

After that, rumors began to circulate in the company. A is beaten by B, and A is asking for a settlement. One day, at an acquaintance's funeral, A met C, his boss and a friend of B's.

C grabbed A's buttocks and started yelling, "I'll give you 5,20 won for each car, let's get <> of them," and "You're going to make me write a letter of resignation," and finally dragged A out and started assaulting him. That day, A fainted from the shock.

What can Victim A do?

First, you can report workplace harassment to the company. Article 76(2) of the Labor Standards Act defines and prohibits harassment in the workplace when an employer or employee takes advantage of his or her position or relationship in the workplace to cause physical or mental pain to other workers or worsen the working environment beyond the proper scope of work. The perpetrators were supervisors at work, so they had the upper hand in status or relationships, and they assaulted them beyond what was appropriate for them to do.
