The Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS) has ordered the withdrawal and cessation of the marketing of the household disinfectant Optisana Alcohol 96º. The contents of the container is hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide), while the label indicates that it is ethyl alcohol 96º reinforced with benzalkonium chloride.

The manufacturer, Laboratorios Montplet, S.L.U, has received the order of the Ministry of Health to adopt the precautionary measures.
