Russia has tested military robots to provide weapons and artificial intelligence.

Sputnik quoted Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper as saying: “Based on the results of the tests, a decision was made to improve the robots at the Ira Center for Innovative Technologies, and the center’s engineers will improve the communications system to improve its quality and stability and to resist electronic interference.”

The new robots are presented in two versions, through autonomous platforms on a tracked chassis or with wheels that can be controlled remotely, and are planned to be equipped with elements of artificial intelligence and technical vision.

Russia previously launched a series of diverse robots capable of fighting instead of soldiers, which were created at the Omsk Armored Engineering Institute.
