The first batch of self-driving police patrol vehicles has been approved for road tests in Beijing.

The unmanned police vehicles in this video patrol the streets in Beijing.

Following police orders, the self-driving vehicles traveled along a designated route and transmitted real-time images to the police office, allowing officers to immediately respond to calls for help and incidents such as fires.

The vehicles carry safety and rescue equipment, including explosion-proof clothing, fire extinguishers and first aid kits, and police officers can also open doors remotely to respond to emergency situations.
