He conquered space and entered, with his Amazon, into the homes of billions of people. And now Jeff Bezos lands on Vogue with his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez. A photo shoot, which will be in the December issue, and of which previews have been released on the net, in which he is immortalized with a cowboy hat, jeans and a T-shirt and sunglasses. Photos that expose him to an avalanche of criticism and irony online, showing a different, for some ridiculous, face of the founder of Amazon.

With Vogue, Sanchez tells her story. She remembers when she found the ring with which the third richest man in the world asked her to marry him: a sober 30-carat cushion-cut pink diamond estimated to be worth between 3 and 5 million euros. She talks about the wedding preparations with the choice of the dress between Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino and says she is ready to become "Ms Bezos".

We're still thinking about the wedding, what it's going to be like. Will it be great? Will it be overseas? We still don't know, we've only been engaged for five months!

"

We're still thinking about the wedding, what it's going to be like. Will it be great? Will it be overseas? We still don't know, we've only been engaged for five months!" says Sanchez, describing their lives as "normal: they revolve around children. Whoever wakes up first makes coffee for the other." Sanchez takes hers in a mug that Bezos bought her on Amazon and on which it says "Woke up sexy as hell again". (I wonder if he also bought the ring on Amazon? ed.)

And the couple always work out together, Sanchez admits, but doing different exercises because Bezos "is on a completely different level, he's a monster in the gym." In the evening, the two go to bed at 21:30 p.m., leaving each other some time to watch television. One of the family traditions is the Saturday night movie and recently the two saw Oppenheimer on a Saturday and Barbie the next day.

However, the photo sparked irony and criticism from the followers of the magazine's Instagram profile: "I've never been so uncomfortable with a photo", "I wish I hadn't seen this photo", "Did he pay you to inflate your biceps?", "Another facelift and his lips will be close to his earlobes" are just some of the comments that can be read under the post.
