The Russian company Reshetov, a subsidiary of the Roscosmos Foundation, has designed a homemade satellite with all its components and devices.

The Russian news agency Novosti quoted the company's general manager Alexei Volin as saying in a statement today: "The company's experts designed the satellite "Express EM Day 4" for communications and television broadcasting, which is the first satellite with all its homemade components," explaining that "work is underway to prepare the design documents for its official submission."

"The production of the moon will be carried out according to the rules followed qualified with changes to replace imported components with local," Volyn said, noting that the French-Italian company Thales Alenia Space was supposed to implement the design, but abandoned the project under pressure from outside parties.
