As a reminder, the Corsa was the very first Opel launched following the acquisition of the brand by what was still PSA. It is therefore based on the same technical base as the Peugeot 208, while offering a clearly Germanic feel, whether in terms of road handling or interior presentation. For this update, the Corsa finally receives the front "Opel Vizor" of the brand, characterized by the vast black surface. The bumpers were also retouched, adorned with false vertical air intakes for a stronger visual presence.

Light hybrid

Inside, there is a new steering wheel, new seat coverings, a new auto transmission control, and above all a new 10-inch screen (optional) for the multimedia system. It is also advancing, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, improved voice recognition, and over-the-air map updates.

On the mechanical side, the Corsa is the first Opel to offer 48-volt mild hybrid solutions, with the 1.2-litre petrol engine 100 or 136 hp. The "simple" 1.2 petrol turbo 136 hp also remains in the catalog. Finally, something new for the electric version. The Corsa e is available in 136 hp/357 km or 156 hp/406 km versions. Prices are not yet known.
