Russian scientist Vladimir Antonov at the North Caucasus Federal University has created a decentralized system to control a swarm of drones.

TASS quoted Antonov as saying that the system is decentralized, meaning there is no single center to control all drones, as each drone has its own artificial intelligence.

Antonov pointed out that the drones are agreed by voting and determine the tasks that each of them carries out according to the emerging circumstances, and at that moment they are integrated into the artificial intelligence of the entire squadron.

Antonov added: "We conducted mathematical modeling to simulate the work of drones that showed the system's superior survival, and the results of evaluating their effectiveness are ahead of their foreign counterparts.

The system enables a drone swarm to identify a more effective way to carry out tasks at different levels.
