Volvo having made the vow of total electrification in the medium term, it is time to deploy a range that will no longer use combustion engines at all. We already know the EX90, flagship of the Swedish manufacturer which will coexist for a time with its thermal and hybrid counterpart XC90. Here is the second only electric model of the Scandinavian brand: the EX30.

We say compact SUV, but it could even be an urban SUV. As long as Volvo's nomenclature is respected, the EX30 should be smaller than the XC40 and C40. Difficult to say on these images, which however reveal relatively muscular proportions. We also see the LED signature of the front optical units that will offer the model a nice detail.

When darkness falls, the two horizontal bands spread apart to reveal the headlights, like eyelids that spread apart. Having seen the EX90 "open your eyes" with this same system, we confirm that it is a great idea. That's all we know for now, but no doubt more information will follow between now and June 7, the date of the official presentation.
