This year, we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Porsche brand. It all started with the famous 356, and that's why on the occasion of this anniversary, some expected the brand to launch a 911 Speedster (or something like that) paying tribute to it. Finally, the 911 of this jubilee year will be named ST. A name that can be found in the history of the model, since it designated racing versions of the 911S, in 1970 and 1971. This is not a competition version, but there is still purity in the concept.

Manual

Basically, Porsche starts from the 911 Carrera T, and grafts the engine of the GT3. For laymen, we are talking about a 911 with manual transmission, whose naturally aspirated engine (without turbo) sends some 500 hp to the rear wheels alone. In addition, thanks to carbon body elements, the 911 ST would be the lightest version of this generation. And if we speak in the conditional, it is because none of this is official. All this is affirmed by an American presenter and screenwriter, great collector of cars and in general very aware of everything related to Porsche. It is even certain that the 911 ST will be officially presented on June 8, 75 years to the day after the presentation of the Porsche 356. Answer in a few weeks.
