A few more hours of waiting and this afternoon NASA will make a historic announcement: the names of the first four astronauts who will fly to the Moon, decades after the last Apollo mission, in December 1972, will be announced.

Around 17:00 (Italian time) the Americanspace agency and the Canadian Space Agency will present the crew of the Artemis 2 mission, composed of three Americans and one Canadian, whose launch will take place no earlier than November 2024.

The four will fly around the Moon aboard the Orion spacecraft in the first crewed test since the success of the Artemis 1 mission, which ended last December. The duration of the mission is estimated at about 10 days.
