New, not quite, because this fourth generation of the Mitsubishi was presented already three years ago, and has been sold in Asia and the United States since last year. Europe will also be entitled to it, even if we do not yet know in which markets. This large 4.7-metre-long SUV can accommodate up to seven people thanks to its three rows of seats, while the cargo volume reaches 2,257 litres once everything is folded down.
Plug-in hybrid
Like its predecessor, it is a plug-in hybrid, but the range in 100% electric mode now reaches 87 km, compared to 45 km previously. The charging time of 10 to 80% is announced at 40 minutes, not on fast charging station, but on conventional terminal or simple wallbox. European power figures are not yet known, but across the Atlantic the Outlander develops 248 hp and 332 Nm of torque from its 2.4-liter petrol thermal block and its two electric motors. Intelligent all-wheel drive (Super-All Wheel Control) is also on the program.
