In recent years (and even more so since Covid), we have become accustomed to contactless payment. With a bank card, but also more and more often with our smartphone. Imagine that in the future, you will not even have to get out of your car to pay, the latter turning into a payment terminal, especially to fill up with fuel or electricity.
Pay+
Mercedes has just launched Pay+, a system that uses Visa authentication to enable secure payment from the cabin. At the moment, only German users can use it using a fingerprint sensor built into the center console. A technology that will be extended to other countries soon. The first models in the range to be equipped with it are the EQS, EQE, S-Class, C-Class and GLC.
