The last full moon of winter shines in the sky of Rome. It is the Moon of the Worm, a name that comes from the tradition of the Native Americans who marked the passage of time, months and seasons, based on the cycle of the moon phases: it is a tribute to the insects that prepare for spring. It is also called Earthworm Moon, Eagle Moon, Sugar Moon, Raven Return Moon.

The spring equinox falls on March 20 while between March 25 and 26 daylight saving time will return, with sunset shifted one hour forward.

The next full moon, also known as the Pink Moon, will occur on April 6, 2023.
