A shock to Al Hilal Saudi Arabia.. Determining the duration of the absence of the team’s top scorer, Mitrovic

Al-Hilal Saudi Club revealed the period of absence of its Serbian striker, Mitrovic, from participating in the matches after the injury he suffered in the last match against Al-Shabab in the Riyadh Clasico.

The club published an official statement, in which it revealed the details of the injury its Serbian striker suffered against Al-Shabab, as the leader confirmed that the player was suffering from a posterior muscle injury.

Mitrovic had suffered a severe leg injury, as a result of which he left the field during Al Hilal's confrontation with Al-Shabab in the 35th minute of the first half, to be replaced by striker Saleh Al-Shehri.

Al Hilal's statement said that the player is scheduled to undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program that will extend for the next six weeks, during which time the player will be absent from the team's matches.

Serbian Alexander Mitrovic scored 22 goals with Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia and ranks second in the Saudi League table, behind Al-Nasr top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo, who tops the list with 26 goals.

Al Hilal Saudi Arabia had signed Mitrovic last summer of 2023, coming from the English club Fulham, in a final transfer deal.
