4 players from Qatar in the ideal squad for the Asian Cup... and the absence of Al-Taamari, the Jordanian star

 The Asian Football Confederation announced the ideal lineup for the Asian Cup, as it included the presence of four players from the Qatar national team, which won the title for the second time in a row, while Musa Al-Taamari, the Jordanian star, was absent.

Qatar won 3-1 over Jordan in the final in a match that saw Akram Afif score three goals from penalty kicks at Lusail Stadium.

Afif, who was chosen in the ideal squad, won the tournament's best player award, in addition to the top scorer award, with eight goals.

The AFC chose only two players from Jordan, which reached the final for the first time in its history, namely Abdullah Nasib and Yazan Al-Naimat.
