The San Antonio Spurs with a quiet Victor Wembanyama (9 points) suffered a ninth straight loss and another correction on Monday at home against the Los Angeles Clippers (124-99). Trailing at the end of the first quarter, the Spurs never managed to trouble the Los Angeles franchise and saw the gap widen against Paul George (28 points) and former Spur Kawhi Leonard (21 points).
The 19-year-old French prodigy Victor Wembanyama, once again awkward (four of twelve shooting), showed little on Monday, finishing with nine points, three rebounds, four assists and two blocks in twenty-six minutes. San Antonio, still without guard Devin Vassell, consolidated its last place in the Western Conference standings. The Spurs host the Clippers again on Wednesday. So, shall we do it again?
