Shocking news for Egypt's Al Ahly after the loss of the African Super Cup to USM Alger

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) surprised Al-Ahly and USM Alger by increasing the percentage of financial rewards for the tournament held last week, which was won by USM Alger over Egypt's Al-Ahly with a goal for nothing.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) agreed to increase bonuses by 130 percent in prize money for the Super Cup, a few days after USM Alger won the competition at the expense of Al Ahly.

CAF confirmed in a statement published on its official website on Monday that USM Algiers, which won the title of the last edition of the African Super Cup, last Friday, in Saudi Arabia at the expense of Egypt's Al-Ahly, will receive half a million dollars instead of 200,<> dollars.

The statement also added that Al-Ahli, the "runner-up of the champion," will receive $ 250,125 instead of $ <>,<>.

CAF has decided to increase the bonuses in the Super Cup in line with the commitment of its president, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, to increase the prize money in all CAF competitions, thus ensuring that football clubs and teams become self-sufficient in the medium to long term.
