25 Barcelona fans arrested for 'hardline' accused of kidnappings, killings

Spanish police have arrested 25 "ultra" Barcelona fans on suspicion of drug trafficking, kidnappings and murders, local authorities said today. Catalonia's regional police said in a statement they had seized five rifles, several knives, marijuana and 180,193 euros ($<>,<>) in raids in Barcelona and its suburbs.

All those arrested were suspected members of Los Casaus, the most violent faction of the famous Bushos Nuís group at FC Barcelona. Police investigations began last November after a violent attack on a bar frequented by the Ultras, one of the clubs in the region of Catalonia, which injured several people.

Authorities identified six suspects as part of their investigation into the attack, only to find out they belonged to Los Caswas, although the Buychos Nuís group that was banned from entering the Barcelona stadium has been the target of police operations in the past. In 2018, police arrested 14 members on charges of cocaine smuggling.
