Collateral victim of the incidents that led to the stoppage of the match between Bordeaux and Rodez, Friday, on the last day of Ligue 2, the Annecy club obviously follows very closely the follow-up given by the LFP to this case. While the disciplinary commission of the League said Monday that it did not validate the victory on the green carpet of the Ruthenian club and would render its decision on June 12, the Hauts-Savoyards said in a statement published in the evening "satisfied" with this announcement.

Regarding the course of the match itself, FC Annecy also reiterated its accusations against Rodez, who according to him lied about the state of health of the player Lucas Buades after his altercation with a Bordeaux supporter. "The RAF President and coach alternately claimed that player Lucas Buades was in hospital with a concussion. It's not true! ", writes the club.

"The player did not go out on a stretcher and never went to the hospital. He did not suffer a concussion and returned by bus with the other players, "adds FC Annecy, which relies on the statements of the Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic Olivier Etienne to support his remarks.

The Savoyard club says it is preparing its response in case the final decision of the LFP leads to its relegation (which will be the case if the victory is given to Rodez on the green carpet). "In view of these false testimonies and their consequences in terms of sporting fairness (...), we reserve the right to file a complaint with the Public Prosecutor for criminal acts of sports corruption and fraud," writes the recent semi-finalist of the Coupe de France, who says he is "saddened by this situation". On that at least, everyone agrees.
