Martial to miss Man United in FA Cup final

Striker Anthony Martial has been confirmed to be sidelined for Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City due to a groin injury. Martial was injured during Manchester United's last Premier League game of the season.
Martial was injured after coming off the bench for Sunday's clash with Fulham, and X-rays have revealed the nature of the injury. Manchester United said in a statement: "Anthony Martial will miss Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City due to injury.

He explained that the French international suffered a groin injury just before the end of the match, which ended in a 2-1 victory over Fulham on Sunday evening at Old Trafford. "The assessment of the player's condition revealed that he suffers from a muscle strain that calls for the absence of the 27-year-old from the scheduled match at Wembley Stadium."

According to the British news agency "PA Media" that Manchester United missed the efforts of Martial in the first two games in the Premier League this season due to a problem in the groin, and the player suffered minor injuries, to reduce his participation to only 29 games in all competitions in the season has scored nine goals. Martial has started 11 of his 21 Premier League appearances this season and had hoped to start against Manchester City.
