Al-Jaish team achieved a valuable victory over Al-Karama 86-65 points, in the ninth round of the second leg of the men's basketball league, at the Al-Fayhaa Sports City Hall in Damascus today.

Al-Jaish managed to settle the first and second quarters in its favor by 21-17 and 20-14 points, while Al-Karama equalized in the third quarter by 17-17 points, but Al-Karama's declining performance did not allow it to win, so Al-Jaish settled the fourth quarter by 22-13 points and achieved victory amid a large presence of the fans of the two teams.

Army coach Haitham Jamil praised the team's collective performance despite the disparity in level, but the good defense and shots from beyond the arc enabled the team to win, considering it an important victory for the road to the "Final Four".

In a similar statement, Al-Jaish player Mohieddin Kasbali pointed out the difficulty of the match, as the team needed this victory, praising the high concentration and collective performance of his teammates.

In Al-Hamdaniya Hall in Aleppo, Al-Jalaa team beat Al-Hurriya 70-64 points, and the first and second quarters ended in favor of Al-Jalaa by 17-15 points and 20-14 points, and Al-Hurriya was able to advance in the third quarter by 15-12 points, and Al-Jalaa advanced in the fourth quarter to settle the meeting in its favor 21-20 points.

Ghazwan Abu Zeid Hall in Homs also saw Al Wathba beat Hittin 83-71 points.

The teams play together back and forth in the first round, at the end of which the last two clubs are relegated to the second division, and the top four qualify for the final round, in which the first plays with the fourth and the second with the third, to win three out of five matches.

The two winners qualify for the final of seven confrontations, and if one of them wins four of them, they will be crowned champions.
