Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Hatta Club, received at Zabeel Palace members of the Board of Directors, the technical staff and players, on the occasion of the return of the first football team to the Professional League, and winning the "General Shield" of the Amateur League.

The reception was attended by the Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, Saeed Hareb, and the Assistant Secretary General, Nasser Aman Al Rahma.

Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan met with Chairman Mohammed Obaid Al Badwawi, and the members, where he listened to the plans to prepare for the next season within the Professional League, and directed cooperation and coordination with the Dubai Sports Council to provide support to the team to enhance efforts and plans for the Hurricane to be an influential party in the tournament, and continue to be present in it for the coming seasons.

He considered that the team's return to the professional league must be continuous, directing the board of directors to pay attention to the age groups sector, and to attract and develop talented people.

Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum extended his deepest thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, for the unlimited sponsorship and support provided by Their Highnesses, to sports in general and football in particular. Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, to provide the means of success and support the efforts of Hatta Club, which led the team to win the first division title, and qualify to participate in the ADNOC Professional League to be the fourth club from Dubai to participate in the tournament, along with Shabab Al Ahli Club, the champion of the Professional League, and Al Nasr and Al Wasl clubs.

Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum also praised the efforts of the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Hatta Club, the administrative and technical staff and the players who gave a strong performance that qualified them to win the title in a difficult season and great competition from all clubs.

Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum also met with the coach, players and members of the administrative and technical staff, and praised their efforts and performance, and asked them to provide a stronger performance during the next season commensurate with the strength of the ADNOC Professional League, to ensure that they remain among the adults and be a key party in the equation of competition.

For his part, Mohammed Obaid Al Badwawi thanked Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the club's president, for his leadership and guidance to the board of directors and all employees of the club, as well as for receiving the team and its guidance for the next season.

Al Badwawi stressed that the Board of Directors will work in accordance with the directives of the club's president, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, to provide a distinguished season commensurate with the excellence and great development witnessed by the Hatta region in all fields, including sports.
