UAE national team crowned champion of qualifiers for the World Beach Games

The national beach soccer team was crowned champion of the qualifiers for the World Beach Games after defeating Iran 5-2, in the final match that took place yesterday evening at the Al-Hamra Corniche beach in the Saudi city of Jeddah. The goals of the beach whites were scored by Ahmed Bishr "two goals", Ali Al-Mohammadi, Abbas Ali and Rashid Eid.

The UAE "champion" and Iran "runners-up" qualified for the World Beach Games "ANOC 2023", in addition to the "host country" Indonesia with the three tickets allocated to the continent of Asia. The national team began its campaign in the qualifiers for the World Beach Games "ANOC 2023" from the quarter-finals, during which it won against Oman in the extra half with a score of (3-2), to qualify for the semi-finals, where it defeated the Saudi team with a score of (5-4).
