Shabab Al Ahli and Sharjah dominate Karate Cup titles

Shabab Al Ahli and Sharjah share the dominance of the titles of the President's Cup for karate within the "kata and kumite" competitions for women and men, which took place the day before yesterday, at the Sharjah Sports Club hall with the participation of 70 male and female players, and Misk represented the end of the current season 2022-2023.

The two clubs participate in winning the shield of general excellence for the most crowned titles of the season, with Shabab Al Ahli winning the shield of the categories (girls, juniors, ladies and women), and Sharjah winning the shield (cubs, juniors, youth and men).

Shabab Al Ahli ranked first in terms of distinguished technical equipment throughout the season, while Sharjah technical staff came in second place, and third place went to Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club.

The President of the UAE and Asian Federations and First Vice President of the International Federation, Major General Nasser Al-Razzuqi, accompanied by the President of the Karate Federation in Iran Mohammad Tabatabai, the Vice President of the Karate Federation in Kazakhstan Hussein Sesirbayev, a member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Club and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the individual games, Eng. Sulaiman Al-Hajri, and members of the UAE Federation, crowned the champions and heroines of the Cup and the shield of general excellence and distinguished technical staff.

Shabab Al Ahli came first in the women's category at the kata level at the expense of Sharjah players, and Al Dhaid came third, and the same scenario was repeated in the "kumite" by Shabab Al Ahli in first place, at the expense of Sharjah Women's Sports, and Falaj Al Mualla third. In turn, Sharjah was crowned with the men's cup of kata and kumite, by grabbing the «king» first place for «kata» at the expense of Kalba II and Al Dhaid third, then Sharjah's victory in «kumite» at the expense of Kalba runner-up, and Shabab Al-Ahli third.
