His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, crowned Sharjah team as champions of the President's Cup for handball, after defeating Shabab Al Ahli 23-20 in the final match held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, at Zayed Sports Complex in Fujairah, in the presence of Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, and Sheikh Suhail bin Butti Suhail Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at the General Sports Authority. The Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal, the President of the Handball Federation, Nabil Ashour, and a number of sports leaders.
Zuhair Naeem scored six goals in the ranks of Sharjah, and Shabab Al Ahli Mohab Abdul Haq, who scored seven goals.
