Al Bataeh Club announced in a statement yesterday that it has contracted with Qatari (of Egyptian origin), Hussein Yasser Al-Mohammadi, as the club's sports director in its second season in the ADNOC Professional League.

Mohammadi carries a long career in the stadiums, the most prominent features of his signing of his transfer contracts to Manchester United, and playing for the benefit of neighbor Manchester City, and is considered one of the players who represented Al Ahly and Zamalek Egyptians, and took over as assistant coach in the technical staff of the white team, which was led by Portuguese Jesvaldo Ferreira.

Yasser Al-Mohammadi began his professional career in the ranks of Al-Khor and then Al-Rayyan of Qatar, until Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United coach, decided to sign him in 2002.

On the other hand, Al Qadam signed a contract with Romanian Mirel Radoi to join the ranks of Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahli to take over the technical leadership of Al Raqi in the new season.

After retiring from football, Radoi, 41, coached Steaua Bucharest in the 2014-2015 season, then was sporting director of the Romanian Olympic team, and then worked as its technical director, before taking over the leadership of the first Romanian team, and then the Universitatia Craiova club in his country.

Radoi made his first professional experience outside Romania with Saudi team Al-Tai, before being sacked a week ago.

Al-Taie's management contracted with the Romanian coach on January 23, succeeding Portuguese Miguel Pedro Pepa, but the decision to dismiss him was issued after the team lost under his leadership in two consecutive rounds, from the subcontractors with a quadruple, and from victory at home with a double without a response.
