The ADNOC Pro League, which was unveiled last Saturday, ranked fourth in Asia in terms of the market value of professional clubs, with a total of 277.51 million euros (1.11 billion dirhams), an increase of 50.06 million euros over the same period last year, due to contracts concluded by clubs over the 2022-2023 season, according to the unofficial website Transfer Market.

The list was topped by Brazilian Mateus Pereira (26 years old), who joined the ranks of Al Wahda last January, from Al Hilal Saudi Club, with a market value of 10 million euros (39.5 million dirhams), two million euros ahead of each of the playmaker of the Bosnian club Sharjah Miralem Pjanic (32 years), and Brazilian professional Alan in the Al Wahda team, which made the midfielders acquire the most expensive market value in the squad «Dorina» with a total of 31.2 million euros (123.6 million dirhams).

The market capitalization of the defensive quartet came in second place in terms of market capitalization, with a total of 16.5 million euros (65.3 million dirhams), in a list topped by Belgian defender Jason Denayer (27 years old) in terms of market capitalization of eight million euros (31.6 million dirhams), 4.5 million euros ahead of Sharjah defender, Greek Kostas Manolas (31 years old), while sharing third place in terms of market value of 2.5 million euros (9.97 million dirhams).
