Shabab Al Ahli player, Syrian Omar Khreibin, expressed his happiness with the Dubai Knights winning the ADNOC Professional League title, stressing that winning the first title in his career in the UAE has a special taste, after he went through two experiences with Al Dhafra and Al Wahda, during which he did not achieve any title. Khreibin told Emirates Today that his happiness is greater that the first title he achieves in the UAE is the league title, explaining: "The league is different from all the championships in any country in the world, and it is the most important tournament, and I am happy with the first league title I was crowned in the UAE, because the fans only remember the champion."

He continued: «At the beginning of the season we did not succeed significantly, and our patience, and improved performance, and changed results, and compensated in the end, after we turned obstacles into lessons learned from them until we got the league shield». Khreibin praised the work of Shabab Al Ahli coach, Leonardo Jardim, saying: "The coach did not fall short with us, and we endured at the beginning, and dealt with us well until we succeeded in achieving the title."

He concluded his remarks by responding to the issue of his continuation with Shabab Al Ahli after the end of his loan from Al Wahda, and said: «I do not know what will happen yet, as I am linked to a contract with Al Wahda Club, and I'll see what can happen in the coming days».
