Who will assume the presidency of the Football Association after the resignation of Rashid bin Humaid according to the law?

The UAE Football Association announced that it will hold a meeting next Sunday to discuss the developments related to the resignation of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi from the presidency of the Federation, and it is expected that during the meeting one of the two vice-presidents, namely the First Vice President Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi and the Second Vice President Yousef Hussein Al Sahlawi, will be chosen to assume the presidency of the Federation during an interim period until the next General Assembly, which appoints a new president of the Football Association by election.

It is expected that during the next meeting, the date of the General Assembly will be determined to elect a new president of the Football Association.
Article 101 of the Statute of the Football Association stipulates that in the event that the president stops performing his official duties temporarily or permanently, the board of directors convenes within seven days to choose one of the two vice-presidents to carry out the duties of the president during a temporary period of time until the next general assembly that appoints a new president by election.
During the next General Assembly, the new president of the Football Association will be chosen, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan is the most prominent candidate to assume the position of President of the Association.
