Saudi Al Hilal goalkeeper Abdullah Al Mayouf led his team to win the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup title after he shone in the penalty shootout match against the Saudi team Al Wahda, to save his team from a bad season and achieve its tenth title in the tournament, after defeating Al Wahda 7-6 in the penalty shootout after a draw in the original and extra time with a goal for each team.

Al-Hilal Saudi team turned its delay with a goal into a draw in the original time of the match in the 99th minute, so that the two teams went to extra time in two halves, but Al-Wahda succeeded in presenting a great match and embarrassed the stars of Al-Hilal, so the two teams headed to the penalty shootout, which was characterized by the Saudi Al-Hilal after a marathon of kicks, to end the match with a 7-6 victory, in which Al-Mayouf was a hero, as he saved the last kicks of the Saudi Al-Wahda before advancing and shooting the decisive kick and putting it in the goal, announcing the victory of Saudi Al Hilal with the most expensive titles.

Al-Hilal succeeded in saving its bad season, in which it lost the Saudi Professional League title, and lost the AFC Champions League title in the final match, but succeeded in the end by crowning the tenth title in the championship.
