Miller, No. 1 Friday

Australian Jack Miller (KTM) set the fastest time on Friday in the first practice session. Then, he put the cover back in the second, ahead of Aleix EspargarĂł (Aprilia) and Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati). Although he fell, Marc Marquez (Ducati) finished 8th, ahead of Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).

On the French side, Johann Zarco (Ducati) set the fifth time overall and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) twelfth. The latter will therefore have to go through Q1, this Saturday, to get his qualification in Q2.
