Al Jazira finish UAE league with 46 points

Ali Mabkhout and Ahmed Al-Attas scored two goals to beat Ittihad Kalba with two goals without a response, in the 26th round of the ADNOC Professional League, today, Thursday, at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, to raise the "Pride of Abu Dhabi" score to 46 points, while the balance of the "Tigers" stopped at 33 points.
Mabkhout advanced to the top scorers with 27 goals, ahead of Togolese Lapa Kodjo with 26 goals, as Al Ain meets Al Bataeh today in the same round.
Al Jazira dominated the center of the field in the first half with 67% possession, but without danger to Ittihad Kalba's goal, as the guest team relied on the offside trap, which stopped the attacks of "Abu Dhabi Pride" on four occasions, while the most prominent opportunity was from a ball played by Ali Mabkhout to Malian Omar Traore, who shot the ball next to the post (12), and defender Zayed Al Zaabi played a strong shot over the crossbar in the first minute of stoppage time.
The second half improved the performance of the two teams and Ittihad Kalba almost scored the first goal from an organized attack that reached Ahmed Amer, who shot a strong ball from inside the penalty area removed by Ali Khasif to a corner kick (55), while Brazilian Bruno wasted an opportunity not to be lost to Al Jazira in front of the goal and shot the ball over the crossbar (62).
In the 63rd minute, Khalfan Mubarak got a penalty kick shot by Ali Mabkhout in the goal, scoring the first goal (64), and the post saved a strong shot from Abdullah Ramadan (72), and in the first minute of stoppage time, substitute Ahmed Al-Attas added the second goal to end the match with the victory of Al-Jazira.
