Bruno Rodriguez will appear in shorts on Saturday night (21pm) at the Parc des Princes, to kick off the Ligue 1 match between Paris Saint-Germain and AC Ajaccio, two of his former clubs. It may be a detail for you, but for him, it means a lot. Because the former striker invited by PSG, now 50 years old, was amputated of the right leg, below the knee, in March 2022.

"I asked to tread the lawn of the Park which is for me the most beautiful stadium in France with my prosthesis because I want to raise awareness," Rodriguez told Le Parisien, which reveals the information.

Representing amputees

The former player had to resolve to undergo this heavy surgery because of intolerable pain, caused by the absence of cartilage after too many recourse to infiltrations during his career.

Despite "a little apprehension", Rodriguez, now settled in his native Corsica, wants to expose his prosthesis in front of the public, to represent amputees.
