The strangest missed opportunity in the history of French league football (video)

The French football league saw one of the strangest missed opportunities in football history, in a match between Lille and Reims on matchday 34 of the French football league.

Lille striker, Remy Kabila, set a negative record when he had the strangest chance to score a goal during his team's match against Reims in the 56th minute, after the ball reached Capela's player centimeters away from the goal line, and the player needed to touch the ball only with his right foot to score the goal, but the ball hit his left foot to go towards the goalkeeper, who threw it and brilliantly removed it from his goal.

The network "Opta", specialized in football statistics, intervened in this shot, as it confirmed that it is the biggest missed opportunity in the French league this season, as the percentage of putting the ball in the net reached 96 percent, although Capella missed it.
The website also noted that this is believed to be the highest lost percentage monitored by Opta in the history of the modern French league.

The match ended with the loss of Lille, for whom Capella plays with a goal without reply, which increased the strangeness and difficulty of the player's bad situation.
