An Egyptian club reveals a shocking truth!

Egyptian Premier League rivals ENPPI said their player Eric Traore "disappeared" several days ago, and the club contacted his wife and agent to find out his whereabouts to no avail.

Mohamed Ismail, director of football at ENPPI, said in televised statements that the 26-year-old winger Traoré, who comes from Burkina Faso and is on loan from Pyramids, "disappeared since the Aswan match (last month) when coach Tamer Mustafa asked him to participate as a substitute in the last minutes, but he went to the dressing room and then left the stadium and did not appear after that."
"After the Eid al-Fitr holiday, his absence continued and the club tried to contact him for questioning but turned off his phones," he said.
"We went to his residence and contacted his wife, but she said she had not known anything about him for days.
"We wanted to file a police report but his wife refused to do so at the moment, and the club doesn't have his passport and we don't know if he traveled outside the country."
He confirmed that ENPPI informed the Egyptian Football Association of the player's disappearance, but did not file a complaint against him.
Ismail pointed out that the priority of the club to check on the player, who has previously played in the ranks of Aswan and Egypt for clearing, and then find out the reason for the absence "whether because of anger from the club or because of a problem."
"Eric looks introverted this season and he played a few minutes with us, it's strange because Eric was one of the best foreign players to come to Egypt.
"We hope he's in good shape, and then we'll discuss the procedures later."
ENPPI are tenth in the league with 33 points from 27 games, eight points ahead of the relegation zone.
Al Ahly lead the league with 53 points from 21 games and three points behind second-placed Future who have played 26 games.
