Sharjah crowned champion of the Handball League for the 17th time

Sharjah team was crowned champion of the General Handball League for the seventh time in a row, after defeating its guest Al Jazira yesterday by two goals, with a score of (32-30), in a match that brought them together for the seventh and final round of the final round of the tournament. Sharjah added the 17th title historically in the league championship, since being crowned the title of the first edition of the 1976-1977 season, and the title of «King» came at the end of the final round at the top of the general standings with a total of 23 points, two points behind Shabab Al-Ahli runner-up with 21 points, and Al Ain came third with 17 points.

Sharjah also received the General Excellence Shield granted by the Football Association to the club with the most titles in one season in various teams of the age stages. The President of the Hand Federation, Nabil Ashour, accompanied by the Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, a member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Club, President of Group Games at the club, Mohammed Obaid Al-Hussan, and a number of members of the Board of the Game Federation and Sharjah Club, went to hand over the Sharjah men's team the League Cup and the shield of general excellence.

The beginning of the match was close between the two teams, before Sharjah was able to gradually move away and end the first half with a difference of four goals and a score of (17-13), in a comfortable difference that allowed the «King» to end the match in his favor with a score of (32-30), and crown the title.
