Sharjah records unprecedented phenomenon in the history of Emirati handball

The final of the Emirates Cup for the junior stage, an incident that occurs for the first time in the history of handball in the country at the level of this age group, recorded the success of two teams from the same club and for the second time in a row in the season, combining the positions of champion and runner-up, by crowning Sharjah "A" team as champion of the cup after defeating Sharjah "B" (25-23) in the match that brought them together today.
The young "King" added the third title in a row and the fourth historically in the cup competition, and Sharjah also combined the league shield with the full mark and the cup championship, after the Sharjah "B" team won second place in the league of the current season for this age group, two points behind the Sharjah "A" team, which was crowned with the title.

The cup final witnessed a large public presence of handball enthusiasts, and a number of officials, led by the Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, and a member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Club and Head of the Club's Group Games Department, Mohammed Obaid Al-Hussan.

It is noteworthy that handball in Sharjah had already achieved this exceptional achievement last season, but at the level of the Cubs stage, when the Sharjah Cubs "A" team was crowned the league title at the expense of the Sharjah Cubs "B" team.
