Al Ahly defeats Pyramids and celebrates the 13th Egyptian Super Cup title in Abu Dhabi

Al Ahly celebrated the 13th Egyptian Super Cup title in the UAE after beating Pyramids by a goal to zero in a match that lasted for two extra periods, which was held at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Al Ahly owes this victory to its Tunisian player Ali Maaloul, who scored the only goal of the meeting from a penalty kick in the 96th minute, and Al Ahly started the confrontation better than Pyramids, as he was the party in control of the playing areas, but he lacked offensive effectiveness in the last third of the opponent's stadium.

But the confrontation took another turn after 15 minutes, when Pyramids began to participate in Ahli in play and succeeded thanks to the offensive transformation, to threaten the goal of Mohamed El-Shenawy on more than one occasion, the most dangerous of which was Ahmed Tawfiq's shot. The most dangerous chances Ahli in the first half was a fixed blow shot by Ali Maaloul, but brilliantly saved by the Pyramids goalkeeper.

The two teams exchanged attacks in the second half, and Al-Ahli was the most dangerous in several times, including an important opportunity for Ahmed Abdel Qader, in addition to the brilliance of Al-Ahly goalkeeper Al-Shenawi to address several attempts by Pyramids players.
