Ahmed Yousef bin Darwish told Emirates Today: "We are not currently thinking about holding the championship matches in a home-and-away system, except for the two semi-final matches, due to the pressure in the calendar of local competitions."
He continued: «We in the Football Association and the Competitions Committee will hold a workshop with the clubs after the end of the current football season, in order to evaluate all matters related to the President's Cup, as well as other competitions organized by the Football Association, in order to find out any negatives or any other matters, and we are also ready in the Football Association to apply anything or any system that can contribute to the development of the tournament, and everyone followed the success of the final match in the last version».
