South Korean football's next-generation sign, Mallorca's Lee Kang-in's goal from over 60 metres has been named the 'Goal of the Week' in Spanish professional football's La Liga.

La Liga introduced the goal scene on Twitter on the 28th, saying, "The best goal in the 30th round was Lee Kang-in's goal against Getafe."

La Liga, which posted a video of Lee Kang-in scoring at the end of the run, highlighted it with the phrase, "If you can catch it, catch it."

Lee Kang-in exploded for multiple goals on the professional stage for the first time in a home match against Getafe on Jan. 24, leading the team to a 3-1 comeback victory.

In particular, just before the end of the game, he caught the ball at the bottom of the half-line and raced 60 meters alone to score a cool wedge goal, which sent the home fans into a frenzy.

Thanks to his blistering performance against Getafe, Lee Kang-in was also named as a right midfielder in La Liga's Best 30 of the Round of 11.

This is the third time Lee Kang-in has been voted La Liga's best 11 this season, following the third and eleventh rounds.

Earlier, in the Round of 3 Celta drawn, Mallorca has been in the spotlight for making nine dribbling breaks in one game for the first time in 11 years, and his stock has been boosted by his recent performance.

Lee Kang-in has five goals and four assists this season.
