Lecce and Udinese face each other at the Via del Mare stadium, after the 1-1 first leg. Between Serie A, Serie B and Coppa Italia, the two teams have met a total of 47 times with 24 victories of Udinese, 17 of Lecce and 6 draws, for a total of 78 goals of the Bianconeri and 60 of the Giallorossi. In the last ten matches in Serie A there have been six victories of Udinese, two of Lecce and two draws.

Here Lecce

In the last four games Lecce have suffered three defeats, 2-0 against Milan, 1-2 with Napoli, 1-0 with Empoli, and obtained a draw, 1-1 with Sampdoria. In the standings it is fifth last with 28 points, only two more from the relegation zone and Verona in third last position, and one more than Spezia, fourth last. On Sunday, Hellas plays at the home of Cremonese, in the penultimate place. If the Gialloblù were to win they could hook or even overcome Lecce, unless the latter in turn wins against Udinese.

Here Udinese

Udinese comes from a win, 3-0 against Cremonese, two defeats both 3-0, against Roma and Bologna, and a draw, 2-2 with Monza. In the standings the Bianconeri are ninth with 42 points, tied with Fiorentina and Turin. Seven days before the end of the championship, the race to access the Conference League, although uphill, is still open. Marco Baroni's team is ten points behind the seventh position, occupied by Atalanta at 52. Seventh place can guarantee access to Europe if one of the following two conditions is met: if one of the top six in the league wins the Italian Cup or if an Italian wins a European cup. At the moment out of four semi-finalists in the Italian Cup, Juventus is third in the league, Inter sixth, Fiorentina ninth and Cremonese penultimate.
