3 international championships prepare "athletics" teams for foreign participations

The Athletics Federation participates in the men's, women's and junior teams in the fourth edition of the West Asian and Asian Uzbekistan Junior Championships, as part of its strategic plan to prepare and qualify national teams for future Arab and continental benefits.

The West Asian Championship will be held in Doha, Qatar, from April 26 to 29, while Tashkent, Uzbekistan, will host the junior championship from April 24 to May 15. The men's and junior teams had previously participated in the International Athletics Forum in Turkey on April 31, with the participation of the teams of Turkey, Bahrain, Portugal, Tunisia, Algeria, Georgia and Azerbaijan within the preparatory program that was implemented from the preparatory camp in the Turkish city of Antalya from March 24 to April 13, with the participation of <> players in different categories.

The Chairman of the National Teams and Referees Committee, Ali Ghazwan, stressed the keenness of the Federation's Board of Directors, headed by Major General Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Murr, to design the best programs to create a supportive environment for the preparation of national teams before participating in international events.

He added that the preparatory camp in Turkey was aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the players, and giving them the opportunity for positive preparation, by participating in various competitions and conducting various trainings, noting that the Federation aims from the Uzbekistan and West Asian championships to support the readiness of the various national teams.
