The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association took during its meeting, yesterday, headed by Counselor Saeed Al-Houti, strict disciplinary sanctions against Al Ain, Al Wasl, Sharjah and Ajman clubs against the background of the events of the second leg matches in the semi-finals of the President's Cup, and the outcome of financial fines against the four clubs and their punished players amounted to 299 thousand dirhams.

The committee said in a press release that after reviewing the reports of the observer and referee of the Al Ain and Al Wasl match in the second leg of the semi-finals of the President's Cup, it was decided to suspend Al Wasl player Thomas Shinkalay for four matches and fine him 12 thousand dirhams for assaulting the opposing team player without a ball, and fined Al Wasl club 50 thousand dirhams for abusive behaviors of the opposing team's fans.

The committee punished Al Ain player Khalid Al Balushi with a four-match suspension and a fine of AED 8,50 for assaulting the opposing team's player without a ball, Haitham Al Iraqi, a member of Al Ain Club's staff, was prevented from accompanying his team for four matches and fined him AED <>,<> for assaulting the opposing team's player, and imposed a fine on Al Ain Club of fifty thousand dirhams, due to one of its fans engaging in unsportsmanlike behavior towards the opposing team's players.

In the same competition, the Disciplinary Committee decided to suspend Ajman Club player Abdullah Saleh for six matches and fined him 12 thousand dirhams for his unsportsmanlike behavior with the Sharjah public, and fined Ajman Club 50 thousand dirhams for its fans to go down to the pitch and try to assault the match referee and use paper bombers, and prevented the coach of Ajman Club guards Omar Ahmed Tawfiq from accompanying his team for two matches and fined him an amount of eight thousand dirhams in addition to repair expenses for the damage caused after the match.

The committee imposed a fine on Sharjah Club in the amount of 50 thousand dirhams for the use of «smoke» and directing inappropriate phrases to the referee of the match and go down to the pitch, in addition to a fine of nine thousand dirhams for obtaining six yellow cards per game.

According to Article 67 of the President's Cup Regulations and Article 66 of the Disciplinary Regulations, Shinkalay and Abdullah Saleh will not participate in the two teams' matches against Bani Yas and Ittihad Kalba today in the 23rd round of the ADNOC Professional League.

"First Degree" penalties

The committee issued a warning penalty to Shabab Al-Ahli Club and fined it 20,17 dirhams because of the descent of its fans to the pitch after the end of its match against Al Wasl Club in the final of the U-<> Junior Cup.
