The 'Eagle Legion' has finally emerged from last place.

Hanwha won the away game against KT of the 15 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Katy Wizz Park in Suwon today (2023th) with a 3-5 victory with the Nos. 2-7 hitters picking up two RBIs apiece.

With this, Hanwha, which has won two in a row, leapfrogged Samsung and KIA and leapfrogged two spots to eighth place.

It is the first time that Hanwha, which has been last for the last three years in a row, has fallen out of the bottom spot since the start of this season.

Hanwha took a 2-2 lead early in the first inning when Noh Si-hwan and Chae Eun-sung hit back-to-back hits, and O'Grady blasted a two-RBI double to right field.

KT went in pursuit after an airborne shift with Kang Baek-ho drawing a solo arch to the middle of the wall.

However, Hanwha ran away with a 8-3 lead early in the second inning when Chae Eun-sung blasted a two-RBI double to right field with two outs.

Early in the sixth inning, Noh Si-hwan hit a two-RBI double at second and third base to make the score 1-2.

KT made up for one run on a two-run homer by Kim Jun-tae in the bottom of the sixth inning, but Hanwha added one more run on a sacrifice fly by Kim Tae-yeon early in the ninth inning to seal the victory.

Hanwha starter Felix Peña earned his first win of the season by allowing one run on four hits in five innings.

In Daegu, Lotte defeated Samsung 9-5 to avenge the previous day's defeat.

Lotte scored one run early in the first inning on back-to-back hits by Ahn Kwon-so and Ko Seung-min on an infield ground ball by Rex.

In the third inning, Rex added one run with one out and two runs on a two-run double that hit the top left-center field, and Ahn Chih-hong blasted a two-RBI double for a 1-1 lead.

Samsung made up for it with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning on a timely hit by Kim Ji-chan at third base.

Then, with Kim Ji-chan caught in a pinch out, third base runner Kim Dong-yup quickly homered to make it 3-1.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, they scored one run on an infield ground ball by Kim Dong-yup with one out to tie the game at 1-2.

However, Lotte added two more runs early in the sixth inning on a timely hit by Lee Hak-ju to make it 2-1, and early in the seventh inning, rookie Kim Min-seok delivered a two-RBI timely hit to make it 2-4.

Samsung scored two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning on a two-run homer by Lee Sung-kyu, but Lotte added one more run early in the ninth inning on a walk by Samsung fourth pitcher Choi Chung-yeon.

In Jamsil, LG defeated Doosan 3-1 to win for the second day in a row.

In a tight pitching battle between Flutco and Kwak Bin, LG grabbed the win on one chance.

LG took the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning when Hong Chang-gi walked and Hyun-so Kim hit a one-out, one-out single and Austin blasted a big sacrifice fly at third base.

Moon Bo-kyung then blasted a two-run homer to bring home Kim Hyun-so, who also jumped home after a relay error by the Doosan fielders to make the score 6-1.

Doosan made up for one run on a timely hit by Kim Jae-hwan in the final strike of the ninth inning, but could not turn the game around.

Flutko pitched six scoreless innings with one hit, two walks and three strikeouts to earn his second win of the season.

Kwak Bin threw a personal-best 1.3 innings, but took the loss, allowing three runs and two runs on six hits.

At the Gocheok Skydome, Kiwoom defeated KIA 6-1 to snap a three-game winning streak.

Kiwoom showed his professional spiciness against KIA's rookie pitcher Yoon Young-chul and took the lead right from the start of the game.

Kiwoom scored the go-ahead run in the first inning when leadoff hitter Lee Yong-kyu singled and then Lee Hyung-jong blasted a two-run homer down the left-field line.

However, Kiwoom took the winning run in the bottom of the fifth inning when Kim Hye-sung, who had hit a two-run homer, brought in a sacrifice fly by Kim Dong-heon for a 3-0 lead.

Kiwoom foreign pitcher Hurado earned his first KBO League victory with six hits and one run in six innings.

KIA rookie Yoon Young-chul pitched 2.2 innings, allowing five runs on four hits and five walks.

After losing three games in a row, KIA was pushed to the bottom of the table.

In Incheon, where the bloody pitching battle was played, NC defeated SSG 10-1 thanks to Park Min-woo's final hit early in the 0th inning of overtime.

It was a game in which NC, which was silent with a no-hitter until the ninth inning, won with just one hit.

NC shut down the SSG batting line with three scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in a personal-best 9.1 innings.

The SSG mound was also strong.

SSG continued its no-hitter streak with starter McCarty allowing three walks through the seventh inning but picking up six strikeouts, followed by McCarty followed by Noh Kyung-eun, Seo Jin-yong and Seung-geon Baek who recorded a no-hitter until the ninth inning, but the batting line failed to score a point.

NC, which was hitless until the ninth inning, finally scored on the offense early in the 8th inning.

Oh Young-so and Ahn Jung-yeol singled to make it a two-out, first and second base, and Park Min-woo delivered a timely hit to right field against SSG fifth pitcher Choi Min-joon to score a thrilling finish.

The team that won with just one hit is NC State this year for the fifth time in KBO League history.

SSG finisher Seo Jin-yong threw a ball to Seo Ho-chul's head after one out early in the ninth inning, resulting in his first "headshot ejection" of the season.
