The 22nd round in the 'League' grabs the spotlight with 25 goals

Mabkhout scored a hat-trick during Al Jazira's 4-3 win over Al Nasr. WAM

The prolific scoring caught the spotlight in the 22nd round of the ADNOC Professional League, which concluded, the day before yesterday, with Dibba drawing with Al Wahda 1-1, in a postponed match, due to Al Wahda's participation in the King Salman Cup for Arab Clubs. The round saw 25 goals scored.

The match between Al Jazira and Al Nasr scored 7 goals, after it ended with a victory for Al Jazira (4-3), while the match between Sharjah and Al Dhafra was the least scoring by one goal in favor of Sharjah.

With a hat-trick against Al Nasr, Al Jazira player Ali Mabkhout increased the intensity of the competition between him and Al Ain player Laba Kodjo at the top of the league's scorers, after Mabkhout raised his score to 22 goals, to become one goal away from Lapa Kodjo, while Lima raised Al Wasl's score to 16 goals to come third.

Among the 25 goals in the round, foreigners scored 18 goals, while citizens scored 7, namely Mabkhout's hat-trick, Abdullah Ramadan for Al Jazeera, Fabio Lima for Al Wasl, Issa Al Hooti of Kalba by own goal, and Salem Saleh for Sharjah.

During the round, the hosts were able to win 4 matches, namely Al Jazira over Al Nasr, Shabab Al Ahli over Al Bataeh, Ajman over Al Wasl, and Sharjah over Al Dhafra, while the draw was present in one match, which is Dibba and Al Wahda.
