14 April The conclusion of the first edition of the Abu Dhabi Government Games Championship

The first edition of the Abu Dhabi Government Games Championship, organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in coordination with the Department of Government Support and hosted by Abu Dhabi Cricket Sports Hub, will conclude next Friday, April 14, and the final week of the tournament, which began on March 27, will reveal the champions of the competitions, football, padel (men), shooting (men - women), cycling (men - women), fitness (men - women), and table tennis (men - women).

The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ teams increased their titles by the end of last week of the championship, winning the title of running races (men and women), and badminton for women, in addition to the volleyball title that they won in the first week, to lead the scene deservedly in the event, which is being held for the first time, with the participation of more than 40 government entities from the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its competitions include 11 games.

In the women's run held over a distance of 4 km at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi Police monopolized the first 6 places, and Mahra Jassim won first place, after covering the race distance in a time of 23:14 minutes, followed in the second to sixth place by her teammates Wafaa Almas, Sheikha Nasser, Ohood Salem, Hessa Al-Jabri, Fayda Al-Suwaidi, and in the men's race for a distance of 5 km, which was held in the vicinity of Abu Dhabi Cricket Sports Hub, Saud Al Zaabi dedicated the title to Abu Dhabi Police, by achieving first place, after covering the race distance in a time of 14:43 minutes, followed in the ranking from second to sixth place respectively, Sultan Al Dhanhani, Mohammed Al Hassani, Al Shaali Al Nuaimi, Hamad Al Zeyoudi, Mayouf Mayouf.

Abu Dhabi Police also won the women's badminton competition, after strong competition with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council women's team, which came second, and the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination team, which finished third.

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council team embraced the women's padel title, Abu Dhabi Police came in second place and Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority third, and 64 players representing 8 institutions participated in the competition.

The ADEK team snatched the title of the triathlon basketball competition, with a thrilling victory over the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority team (10-9), who won the runner-up, while the third place went to the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority team.
