To avoid paraphrasing again the late Jacques Chirac, we will say that on the side of Saïd Chabane, the former president of Angers SCO, the annoyances move in herds. Already entangled in a case of sexual assault for which he will be tried in the coming weeks, Chabane has, according to LCI, been placed in rank at sight in the premises of the Central Service of Races and Games (SCCJ) of the judicial police of Nanterre as part of an investigation opened by the prosecutor's office of Bobigny under the charges of "laundering in organized gang" and "illegal exercise of agents of players".

Still according to our colleagues from LCI, "at the center of the investigations are dubious financial transactions and the role of several players' agents during transfers made by the SCO of Angers". This detention follows two searches conducted in connection with this case on June 14, 2022 and January 3, 2023.
