African Champions League: Excellent outcome for Raja. Zamalek bids farewell to an exciting victory over Mars

Morocco's Raja Sportive collected the biggest tally in the group stage of the CAF Champions League after beating Tanzania's Simba 3-1 on Friday, while Egypt's Zamalek ended their participation with a thrilling 4-3 win over Sudan's Al-Merreikh.

At the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Raja recorded their fifth win in six matches, repeating their 3-1 victory over Simba.

The Casablanca team finished the group stage with 16 points in the leadership of Group C, which is the most points among the quarter-finalists, Simba came second with 9 points, and Guinea's Houria raised its score to 7 points in third place after beating Uganda's Vipers with two clean goals, and the latter came at the bottom of the standings with two points.

And farewell Zamalek Egyptian continental competition with a thrilling victory over Mars Sudanese 4-3 Friday, in the competitions of Group D.
